Danfoss has introduced a new range of pressure transmitters for use in hydraulic applications. These are the familiar MBS standard transmitters modified by a "small detail". The article describes the causes of damage to transmitters taking measurements in hydraulic systems and indicates how these problems can be solved using MBS pressure transmitters.

The selected measuring technology combined with the small detail has transformed the MSB pressure transmitter into a plug-in and forget system for measuring hydraulic systems.
