| New Elements of the VLT® 5000
Series Danfoss recently introduced the first units in the new VLT® 5000 series. Regardless of function and size, all frequency converters in this series are based on the same concept. The VLT® 5000 series is now being expanded to include units up to 400 kW. This expansion adheres to the same unique concept as the first frequency converters in the series. The article describes the elements introduced with the latest VLT®
5000 series frequency converters. Ranging from the expanded output range to One Size
Down, to the many Plug and Play options which can be installed directly in the
