In 1994, and much heralded by the
media, Danfoss introduced the Nessie®
water hydraulics family consisting of
pumps, motors, valves and accessories
for building up systems capable of operating
on pressures up to 140 bar. Power
packs were subsequently added to the
range, and water-hydraulic cylinders have
been developed in cooperation with external
partners.
